Good weekend!
I love my four day weekend!
Highlights:
Thursday Maya and I took Gavin to preschool and then ran errands. Later in the day we enjoyed the outdoors and the beautiful weather.
Matt took Gavin to speech on Friday. Then we all went to lunch at Bread Basket in Auburn. Yummy!
Saturday we went to see Madagascar 2 with Cassidy and Cole. It was pretty funny. The kids loved it and Gavin NEVER claims to like movies at the theater. We drove around and looked at houses to buy (in Auburn) while the kids took naps in the car after the movie.
Sunday we went to church. Stopped at Walmart for groceries and ate at Buffalo Wild Wings. Gavin had homework to do this weekend. We decorated a turkey feather with colored marshmellows.
Nothing too exciting, but nice all the same.

November 3, 2008 ~ What a beautiful fall day.
Vote... We did!
Gavin, Maya and I got to the court house at 5:40A. We were 9th in line. We were out of there by 6:15A! Gavin was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited to vote! I had to really talk to him about not talking to other people about who he wanted to win. He did a good job. He did ask me where McCain and Obama were. Apparently he thought they were going to be there this AM! ;o)

Life is short.
Tell those you love that you love them. Life is so short and you never know when your time will end. This is the mother of a preschooler I had a couple of years ago. She was only 27. Say a prayer for her husband, her three little boys and all who she left behind.

Our children made the national news!
Check out this link. Our kids were on the CBS National News on 10/20/08. What a surprise when we got a phone call asking us if we had seen it!
